2026-2027 will be my 4th school year

Hometown: North Reading, MA

Why athletics? 

Team sports has always been in my life. From youth lacrosse to volleyball, basketball, and lacrosse in high school, and college lacrosse, I've always had a passion for the camaraderie and competition of sport. I also recognize what a physically active lifestyle can do for someone, mentally as well as physically. Working as an athletic trainer in a secondary school athletic department allows me to help people with their own individual athletic and sport journeys: whether that is helping them when they are injured or unable to play and navigating those challenges, or educating and exploring one's athletic and intersectional identities outside of their activities. Sport truly is for everyone!

What do you love about Beaver?

Beaver demonstrates such a combination of so many things that are great in this world. It is so welcoming and inclusive of all identities, and I get to experience that both in athletics and out. It also brings a competitive energy, with students always seeking out new opportunities for growth on the field and in the classroom. Beaver gives students all the tools they need to make a difference in the world if they choose to seize them. 

Favorite part of the job?

Being a part of students' journey, especially seeing how they grow and change over the years. There are students who I had when they were in middle school who are joining upper school sports and thriving, and others who I shared my first year with who are now seniors getting ready for their next steps. 

Favorite Beaver Athletics memory?

I love Harvest Fest every year, with the perfect fall vibes and the best under the lights fan energy. It was so fun this past year, with girls soccer scoring at the end of their under the lights game to tie it up and end in a draw. I am really looking forward to expanding Harvest Fest to include middle school to continue to highlight the Beaver community. 

Fun Fact / Outside of Beaver — hobbies, interests, pets, favorite teams, etc.

I still chase the buzz from my athlete past with triathlons and summer league lacrosse. I love the outdoors (Team Lake > ocean), and will always cheer on a Boston sports team. You will usually find me with a book in my office, but I am also always watching Ted Lasso or New Girl on repeat.
